As I grew up in Idukki district in Kerala, most of my friends and relatives have advised me to go to Bangalore or outside Kerala for studying MBA. But I chose Jai Bharath and the institute has offered pedagogy, which is in line with industry requirements and prepare the students to take up jobs in MNCs. La Squadra 3 Success Party and New Year Celebration

On the evening of December 31st, 2024, we hosted an unforgettable La Squadra 3 Corporate Challenge Events Success Party and New Year Celebration at the college premises, marking the culmination of an incredibly successful year. The event brought together all students and faculty to celebrate both the triumphs of the year and the beginning of an exciting new chapter in 2025. The venue, beautifully decorated with festive lights and elegant details, was filled with an air of anticipation as attendees arrived to commemorate the remarkable success of La Squadra 3. We celebrated the collective efforts that had led to a successful year while embracing the promise of new opportunities in the year ahead.

NeST Digital and Fragomen

Jai Bharath School of Management Studies (JBSMS) signed Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs) with NeST Digital and Fragomen, marking a significant step towards fostering industry academia collaborations. The MOU with NeST Digital aims to provide students with hands-on experience and exposure to cutting-edge digital technologies, enabling them to enhance their technical skills and stay ahead in the fast-evolving digital landscape. Similarly, the partnership with Fragomen, a global leader in immigration services, opens doors for students to gain valuable insights into the international business environment and the immigration process. These collaborations reflect JBSMS’s commitment to enhancing its academic offerings and providing students with real-world industry experiences, preparing them for successful careers in a globalized business world

LA-SQUDRA III

LA-SQUDRA III : Corporate Challenge was conducted at Greenberg Holiday Resort Idukki on the 21st and 22nd of December 2024, aimed at bridging the gap between Education and Industry. This 2 day - 1 night event aimed to facilitate the development of essential skills and foster collaboration between corporate teams and MBA students. All the 80 students along with the faculty and the 6 teams from different companies set off to Greenberg in 2 tourist buses enjoying the scenic beauty and it was more like an ice breaking session with the corporates. Expert-led training sessions and Corporate team competitions, aimed to enhance participants; teamwork, leadership, p r o b l e m - s o l v i n g abilities, and practical knowledge. ‘LASQUDRA III’ delivered impactful sessions led by experienced corporate trainers that aimed at developing essential skills such as teamwork, leadership, problem-solving, and innovation. The program also provided an exciting array of competition activities, with 15 diverse challenges. Selfie challenge, baby transport, build a bridge, 3 limb race, ball drop, pencil drop, don’t fall, ball transfer, kayaking, tied up, adventure, tug of war, treasure hunt and 5 course race were the challenges. There were 6 teams competing and the first 2 teams were awarded trophies. The students coordinated and did an exceptional job in getting all the games done on time and the strong coordination could be seen as the tasks went seamlessly amidst adverse climatic conditions. <br /><br /> Beyond the competitions, participants had the opportunity to immerse themselves in a world of diverse experiences. The program venue offered a large swimming pool, games, fun activities, trekking options, boating, kayaking, bamboo rafting, river crossing, water cycling, and jeep safaris. A mesmerizing fusion musical performance along with cultural programs and a cooperate walk added beauty to the event. A comfortable stay and sumptuous meals that aligned with premium standards, ensured a restful and rejuvenating overnight stay, also an extravagant culinary experience that complemented the overall excellence of ‘LA-SQUDRA

With her extensive experience in talent acquisition, Mrs. Viswanathan highlighted emerging global hiring trends, the impact of technological advancements, and the shift toward skills-based recruitment strategies. She emphasized the importance of cultural intelligence, adaptability, and digital proficiency in the modern workforce. Drawing from real-world examples, she discussed how industries are leveraging artificial intelligence and data analytics to optimize hiring processes while fostering inclusivity and diversity

English Language Mastery Bootcamp

The English Language Mastery Bootcamp was an intensive, hands-on program designed to elevate participants’ English communication skills to a professional level. Scheduled over two phases—November 18–23 and December 2–5— this bootcamp offered a structured approach to mastering the fundamentals of English, with a focus on real-world applications. <br /><br /> The program catered to individuals seeking to improve their fluency, vocabulary, grammar, and confidence in both spoken and written English. Each session was carefully designed to be interactive, blending theory with practice through engaging activities such as role-plays, group discussions, writing exercises, and personalized feedback.

Boot Camp 2.0 - Campus to Corporate: An Initiative by NIPM Kerala Chapter

The National Institute of Personnel Management (NIPM) Kerala Chapter successfully organized Boot Camp 2.0 – Campus to Corporate, a series of workshops aimed at bridging the gap between academic learning and corporate readiness. The initiative featured insightful sessions at prominent institutions, focusing on the latest trends and practices in Human Resource Management. <br /> <br /> The first session, held on November 12 at SCMS Cochin, spotlighted “HR Automation & Technology”. Renowned resource persons, Mr. Krishna Kumar and Ms. Sarika C. K., delved into the transformative role of automation and technology in HR. They shared insights on streamlining HR functions, improving efficiency, and driving employee engagement through innovative tools. <br /> <br /> The second session on November 25 at Nirmala College, Muvattupuzha, centered on “Talent Acquisition Trends”. Esteemed speakers Ms. Kavitha Mathew, Mr. R. Mahadevan, and Mr. Koshy K. Ancheril discussed emerging trends in recruitment, including data-driven hiring, the gig economy, and diversity-focused strategies. Their expertise offered students a comprehensive understanding of evolving talent landscapes.

Marketing Club Inauguration & Masterclass: Industrial Experience Driven Marketing - A Practical Approach

The Marketing Club was officially inaugurated with great enthusiasm and by Ms. Riya Babu Mini Varma, Head of Digital & E- Commerce Operations- Anna Kitex Group. Post the inauguration, Ms. Riya Babu conducted an engaging masterclass titled “Industrial Experience Driven Marketing: A Practical Approach.” Drawing from her years of experience in the field, she provided valuable insights into practical marketing strategies, consumer behavior analysis, and the nuances of adapting to dynamic market trends. The session emphasized the importance of aligning theoretical knowledge with industry practices and encouraged students to think innovatively to address real-world marketing challenges. <br /> <br /> logistics, port operations, and technology-driven trade management. The visit included a guided tour of the facilities and an engaging session with industry experts who highlighted trends in global trade and supply chain optimization.
